Dear Friends and Colleagues
On behalf of Korean Pain Society (KPS) and the members of the Organizing Committee, it gives me great pleasure to invite you and your colleagues to the 69th annual meeting of KPS to be held from 16 to 17 November 2019 in Seoul, Korea. As an organization, KPS has grown into a flourishing large community with over 4,800 participating members for pain medicine which plays an important role in its core domains of education, treatment and research in the field of pain medicine.
New knowledges and technologies about pain medicine are explored and the organization of care is quickly shifting. More mechanism-oriented treatments are released with new insight of pain pathophysiology and innovative approaches are necessary.
This KPS annual meeting will be held as an international conference, which will offer you an overwhelming number of lectures, workshops, and refresher courses on almost every single aspect of pain medicine. The scientific committee elaborate programs with topics covering all areas of interest in the field of pain research and management. In addition, basic research will be integrated into presentations of clinical practice, skills in diagnoses and treatments.
On behalf of the KPS I would like to encourage you to join us. The Congress will be the greatest Pain Congress and provide all participants with an unforgettable personal and professional experience. I look forward to welcoming you to the smart city of Seoul.
